Health Van

The Lucille Packard Adolescent Health Van is a mobile clinic that is at Peninsula High School one Tuesday per month. The Health Van is for students with no health insurance.The Health Van is not a district-funded program and students must have parent/guardian permission.

It is staffed with an adolescent Medical Physician, a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, a nutritionist and a social worker. Services provided on the Van include physical examinations, immunizations, sick care, family planning, STD screening and HIV screening and counseling.
