A Peninsula High School graduate will be able to:

1. acquire, organize and communicate information effectively and appropriately by:

  • demonstrating the ability to do research
  • demonstrating the ability to interpret and process information
  • communicating in a variety of media

2. demonstrate responsible citizenship and behavior by:

  • engaging in meaningful recreational and leisure-time activities
  • participating in constructive civic, community or school activities
  • identifying outcomes and making informed choices

3. constructively apply appropriate problem solving skills by:

  • identifying the problem
  • analyzing appropriate methods of resolution
  • applying methods of resolution and making adjustments as necessary

  • using cooperative learning strategies
  • participating in activities that promote sensitivity and acceptance of diversity

5. meet established subject area standards by:

  • demonstrating knowledge of  key facts, concepts and processes in each subject area
  • identifying and using appropriate key facts, concepts, and processes for independent work
