Class of 2026: Summer College Support Available June 8-July 10
An SMUHSD College and Career Center Counselor or a School Counselor will be available from June 8-July 10, 2026 to assist recent graduates with the following needs as they transition to university or community college:
  • Forwarding final transcripts
  • Connecting with college counselors
  • Registering for classes
  • Applying to community colleges
  • Understanding financial aid
  • Transferring 504 Plans/IEPs
  • Applying for programs
  • Job-related needs
  • Support with researching certification programs

The support line will be active from June 8-July 10, 2026.

Summer Wellness Resources for SMUHSD Students
As we head into summer break, we recognize that stepping away from daily school routines can sometimes bring new challenges for students and families. SMUHSD remains committed to supporting equitable access to mental health and wellness resources throughout the summer months.


For urgent mental health needs or immediate safety concerns, please call 911.

Students and families may visit the Mental Health and Wellness page for additional, non-urgent,  community support services.

In partnership with our community organizations, the following resources also remain available to support students and families over the summer:

  • Care Solace: A no-cost online resource with a live 24/7 concierge service to assist students and families in connecting with local mental health providers and community-based services.
    • Call: (888) 515-0595
       
  • allcove San Mateo: A youth-centered space for individuals ages 12–25 offering mental health support, peer support, medical services, substance use support, and wellness activities in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
     
  • Daybreak Health: Virtual mental health counseling and support services available for students, including individual therapy and family support.

Please note: Limited Wellness support will be available from June 5 through July 8, Monday–Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. during Summer School days. Learn more.
